Jiang Qi, the founding emperor’s original wife, expects to die in peace, but instead awakens as a princess many generations later. Though she is not related by blood to her great-grandson, he is now a lively tyrant whose rule is throwing the Great Qin Dynasty into chaos. As the dynasty teeters on the brink of ruin, Jiang Qi takes matters into her own hands. On her first day after rebirth, she invites the tyrant to a meal of whip-fried meat; the next day, he asks whether she knows what she has done wrong. Jiang Qi replies that his aunt claims to be his ancestor and must teach the disobedient grandson a lesson.
