Run Maelle

Maelle, a duke’s daughter, dreams of her country’s ruin and sets out to prevent it. To help save the nation, she follows Princess Liela—a beautiful but foolish royal—and enters the Empress’s Choice, a competition held in the Empire of Helbern to determine the next empress. One day, Maelle’s love of gardens leads her to meet a masked man. She learns that Emperor Roheiden van de Helbern often visits the garden, though she doubts he has time for it. As Maelle, Liela, and the emperor become involved in the struggle for the throne, Maelle must find out whether she can save her country.
