Teenage Shakuya, heir to the Dragon Clan, suddenly has two fiancés. One disappeared years ago but has now mysteriously returned, while the other refuses to give up his place. Shakuya’s mother sets a deadline: after one year, Shakuya will marry the man for whom she has the strongest feelings. The choice is marked by magical tattoos on Shakuya’s hands, one for each suitor; the tattoos grow as her love deepens. There is another complication: whenever Shakuya gets upset, she transforms into a fearsome dragon.
