Scarlet Palace

In ancient China, Ninghu disguises herself as a eunuch to get close to King Xun, but finds herself drawn into a dangerous palace intrigue. Her family wants her to become the future queen of Ding, even though the king shows no interest in his concubines. Ninghu enters the Scarlet Palace as a servant to her brother Yuanren, a powerful eunuch and adviser. Lingyu, the king’s favored and influential eunuch, suspects that Ninghu is a girl and begins investigating her. After Lingyu’s original servant dies mysteriously, Ninghu becomes his personal attendant in hopes of approaching the absent king. As they spend more time together, Ninghu and Lingyu grow attracted to each other.
