School Rumble

A high school girl wonders whether the boy she likes will ever notice her. Meanwhile, a notorious delinquent realizes he has fallen for her and must find a way to tell her how he feels. Both students are caught up in the challenge of expressing their feelings, though they face it from very different positions: she quietly hopes to be seen, while he tries to make his sudden crush known.
