Mikazuki Kenya, a lonely boy abandoned by his parents and bullied at school, finds comfort in the virtual game Knight of Giant. There, he meets its heroines, Kaguya and Reina, and falls in love with them both. When he learns that one of them is destined to die, he resolves to change their fate and trains until he becomes one of the game’s strongest players.
