Euna, a half-human, half-boar woman, is looked down on by her village for having a weaker boar side. When a tiger attacks, she drives him away but ends up isolated with him, and the two fall off a cliff. The tiger transforms into a human to save her, taking several blows to the head along the way. At the bottom of the cliff, he remembers nothing except that he was protecting Euna. Panicked, she tells him he is madly in love with her and calls him Mr. Whiskers. He follows her back to the village, and Euna must keep convincing him that he is merely a sweet, docile house cat in love with her, for her own safety and her family’s.
