After her savings run out, 27-year-old Shindou Eroko leaves her NEET life behind and takes a job as a general handyman at the Amaguri Handyman Service. On her first day working with her colleague Hoshi-kun, she falls for him—but he is still in high school. Eroko has trouble telling her fantasies from reality, and she repeatedly schemes to get closer to Hoshi-kun in hopes of making those fantasies come true. Her new job brings her into regular contact with the schoolboy she has set her sights on.
