So How Did I Die

A dragon enters the human empire in the guise of a noblewoman to find the thief who stole a magical stone from its territory. The search leads back to the woman’s former home and a mystery surrounding her reported death five years earlier, shortly after her wedding. As the dragon investigates, three men connected to the woman recount what they know: the empire’s crown prince, who was her fiancé; her devoted butler; and someone personally affected by her death. Their accounts may help reveal what happened to her and answer the question of how she died.
