Sovereign of Puro

Li Banfeng travels to Puro State to save a friend’s life, arriving in a land still in the age of steam. A doctor has told him he is not insane, and his name means “mountain peak,” not “going mad.” In Puro, a world of cultivators and a hundred competing sects, Banfeng dresses in a suit and formal hat, takes up a feather duster, and earnestly asks who rules the state. As the sects vie for supremacy, he seeks to discover who is known as the Lord of Puro.
