Spoiled Fairytale

Neglected by her contemptuous parents, Seohee is worn down when she becomes entangled with Joo Taebaek, a man notorious for his promiscuity and careless attitude toward love. He moves between kindness and cruelty, and dismisses fairytales as empty illusions. Taebaek offers to keep Seohee’s secret in exchange for a night together. Believing that drawing close to him might let her share in his counterfeit love, she willingly throws herself into a brief, rebellious encounter. But when she prepares to leave before midnight, Taebaek is left dazed—and it is unclear which of them has truly been swept up in the flames.
