ST&RS

In 2019, Earth receives a verified message from an alien life form inviting humanity to meet on Mars in 2035. The announcement leads to the creation of ST&RS, a space agency representing the whole planet, and rapid advances in space exploration, including a return to the Moon and the construction of orbital stations. An academy is established to train the next generation of ST&RS members. On the day the message arrives, Shirafune Maho speaks his first word: “Mars.” Growing up with the universe on his mind, he applies to the Space Academy alongside his childhood friend Hoshihara Meguru and Wataru Amachi, a brilliant recent transfer student. Together, they face the difficult challenge of gaining admission to a school that accepts only one percent of its applicants.
