Sword Art Online - Ordinal Scale

In 2026, four years after the Sword Art Online incident, a new device called the Augma brings augmented reality gaming into everyday life. Unlike the virtual-reality NerveGear and Amusphere, the Augma can be used while its wearer is awake, and its hit game, Ordinal Scale, places players in a fantasy adventure where they compete for rankings and rewards. Kirito’s friends dive into the game, and although he doubts the new system, he eventually joins them. What first seems like harmless fun soon reveals that Ordinal Scale is not quite what it appears to be.
