Tales of the Abyss

On the world of Auldrant, a prophecy called the Score guides humanity’s choices and promises an age of unprecedented prosperity. Its words are revealed by the Order of Lorelei, a religion founded by the prophet Yulia, whose visions once showed people how to seal a deadly planetary poison called the miasma deep within the world. More than two thousand years later, the Score foretells that a young man named Luke fon Fabre is essential to that promised future. He is heir to the throne of Kimlasca-Lanvaldear, but after being kidnapped as a child by the rival Malkuth Empire, he has lived under confinement at his family’s manor for his protection. Luke knows nothing of the danger now approaching.
