The 24th Fiancée is the Charm

Adonis, the only son of a marquess, has good looks, exceptional intelligence, and a respected family, but his awful personality has led 23 noblewomen to end their engagements with him. Hoping to find a fiancée who will stay, his mother selects Ophelia, the daughter of a poor country noble, as his 24th prospective bride. Ophelia’s cheerful nature and honesty soon win over everyone in the marquessate, including Adonis himself.
