The Big O

Paradigm City is a city of amnesia, where a forgotten event 40 years ago leaves its residents to rebuild their culture from scattered fragments. In this world, Roger Smith works as a negotiator, mediating high-risk disputes among the police, citizens, and criminals. The past has not vanished entirely: giant robots called MegaDeuses remain, built either by the city’s former inhabitants or by its forgetful residents. When crime and madness threaten Paradigm City, Roger brings the guilty to justice with the MegaDeus known as the Big O.
