The Empress’s Concubine Scandal

A former ruler of hell awakens as the terminally ill wife of the man she once loved, now Emperor Enrique, after he kills her with a sword. Her sisters’ words about love haunt her, and she learns that to become a demon again, she must love a human and drive a dagger into that person’s heart. Enrique demands an heir of his blood, while three others are drawn to her: Derek, the devoted knight who calls himself her cherished bedroom furniture; Duke Ahillo, the last wizard of the age, whose heart races after witnessing her magic; and Meriem, a young desert warrior with extraordinary life force. She must decide whose heart to stab.
