The Kind Older Sister Is No More

Irene gives up everything for her sick younger sister, Riel, believing that as the elder sister she must always yield. But when Riel takes what matters most to her, Irene realizes she has no place or love in her family home and decides she will live without further regret. As Irene begins to work out how to become independent, she meets Noel Christian, a grand duke who is in a similar situation. Noel proposes marriage, and Irene agrees that a formal union may be enough, without power or love. Looking at her, Noel senses a change in the atmosphere, and Irene suggests that perhaps they can save each other.
