The Path Of The Briars In The Moonlight

Newly graduated herbalist Yatsuki Seimiya is engaged to Hajime Keibi, a famous hotel entrepreneur, through their families. Her life is upended when her parents die in a suspicious car explosion, shortly after she receives a photograph of Hajime with another woman. While going through her parents’ belongings, Yatsuki finds their herbal research notebook, but important pages are missing—and the notebook is now in Hajime’s possession. Suspecting he may be involved in her parents’ deaths, she takes a job as a school doctor in a remote village while continuing with the wedding to stay close to him. She vows never to forgive him if he is responsible, and their confrontation begins just days before the marriage.
