The Rise of the Unemployed Wise Man

Karna is a child granted the title of “Wise Man” by paradise, but the saint’s party expects more from his abilities than he can deliver. When his “warlock” skill disappoints them, they quickly banish him. Lost on the road without a reward, Karna accidentally enters the Demon King’s domain and is targeted by its demons. He faces a powerful demon and defeats it with magic far stronger than expected. Cecilia, a demon who witnesses the fight, offers him a generous annual salary. Karna then decides to join the Demon King’s army as a performer and become an enemy of humanity.
