The Terminally Ill Rejects the Strategy

Reincarnated as Ruibel Azestar, a minor princess in a fantasy novel, she is astonished when the story’s hero, Heizen Icehan, proposes to her. Believing she has changed the original plot, Ruibel happily accepts her new place in the story—until she catches Heizen cheating on her. Ruibel then discovers that her world is not based on the novel, but on a notorious dating game inspired by it, where she is merely one of Heizen’s disposable romantic targets. Furious and determined to get revenge, she is approached by Ancelot Ruenhart, a neighboring country’s prince feared as a bloodthirsty madman. He offers to help, though he and Ruibel have never spoken before, and seems inexplicably interested in her.
