Thursdays with Furutto

Furutto the cat balances life as a house pet with his reputation as a streetwise stray. He spends time with Kujirai, a young woman in an apartment building who feeds him when she can and keeps him company at home. Kujirai works as a manga assistant, but her modest pay sometimes disappears into gambling. Meanwhile, Furutto returns to the streets to hang out with other strays, scavenge food from trash cans, and get into fights with cats from the neighboring town.
