Timid and Shy

Sophia Ariel, raised in poverty on the Empire’s outskirts, reaches the age of twenty without ever making her social debut. Her aunt, a member of the Empire’s most powerful ducal family, unexpectedly offers to introduce her to high society. Suspicious of this sudden generosity, Sophia accepts, only to discover that her debut comes at a price she could never have imagined.
