High school student Rinka Urushiba gains the ability to pass through inanimate objects after touching a glowing fish swimming through the sky. She lives a modest life with her father as her only family, until she witnesses the strange sight alongside a boy from school whose face is covered in unusual scratches. The fish’s touch leaves Rinka unconscious, and she wakes with a power she can barely control—including the ability to fall through her apartment floor. A call from her father reveals that Rinka is not the only person to receive unpredictable superpowers from the flying fish. As she tries to understand what is happening, she wonders whether her scratched-up classmate knows more about the mysterious events than he admits.
