Tsuki no Shirosa wo Shirite Madoromu

Irede is the world’s oldest pleasure town, built as an offering to a god, where ancient myth has survived for millennia. Visitors from across the continent come for its fine wine, music, and beautiful courtesans, beneath lanterns that bathe the town in vermilion light. But shades—supernatural beings born from human desires—haunt Irede’s shadows, while something primal stirs deep underground. Xixu, a strict military officer from the capital, arrives to serve as the town’s newest shadeslayer. There he meets Sari, a young courtesan with moonlight-colored hair, and their story unfolds amid love, conflict, desire, blood, gods, and humanity.
