University student Souji Miyamoto is transported to another world after testing a replica sword he impulsively bought. He arrives during a kingdom’s hero-summoning ceremony, and the people there mistake him for the legendary Hero they summoned. The princess, however, realizes Souji is an impostor. Knowing he could be executed if the truth comes out, he is forced to set off on a quest to defeat the Demon King. The members of his supposed Hero’s party each have their own unusual challenges.
