UFO Robo Grendizer

Duke Fleed, prince of Planet Fleed, hides his identity as Daisuke, a farm worker, while fighting the Vegan Empire that destroyed his home. He uses Grendizer, a robot created by the empire and stolen by Duke, to battle its forces. This short manga adapts the UFO Robo Grendizer anime and was released alongside the series. Koji Kabuto and the Mazinger mechas also appear, giving the story a connection to the Mazinger series, though Grendizer was not originally considered part of it. The work features a transformable space robot and became especially popular in Japan, Canada, France, Italy, and the Arab world, where it retains a strong following.
