A fan of an anime awakens as Zenon Restinata, a villainous noble destined to be an unimpressive “underdog” who gets beaten by the protagonist. Finding himself inside the anime’s world, he tries using magic and discovers that he enjoys it immensely. Determined to change Zenon’s disappointing fate, the fan sets out to give the character a different future. His do-over life as a magic enthusiast begins, though the world is already proving very different from the original story.
