Finding Humanity

After cyberbullying drives Emily into reclusion, she keeps her head down, studies online, and leaves home only for her required internship. Then she becomes trapped in an elevator just as a zombie apocalypse begins. When Emily gets out, she finds a dystopian world ravaged by disease and hungry, man-eating monsters. Forced to flee, she must navigate a dangerous landscape while deciding whether she can trust the strangers she meets. As she struggles to survive, she also faces her inner demons. The story includes graphic depictions of sexual trauma and assault, as well as intense horror and distressing imagery.
